ALL FOUR ROUNDS OF THE FERENC FRICSAY INTERNATIONAL CONDUCTING COMPETITION WILL BE RECORDED. ALL VIDEO RECORDINGS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PARTICIPANTS.

RULES

1STAGES OF THE COMPETITION
The competition consists of the elimination phase and the live phase. The elimination phase includes the review of applicants' videos and CVs. The live phase consists of four rounds, in which the participants conduct the orchestra in front of the jury, who judge their qualities and decide which of them goes to the next round.
2PARTICIPATION
The competition is open to all conductors, regardless of age.
3VIDEO RECORDINGS
Your video must include performances of works from any historical period (recordings with both instrumental and vocal formations are acceptable) and be playable in streaming mode. All video recordings must be at least 5 minutes long. The recordings of piano rehearsals are also acceptable.
4ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT
The organizer will assist participants who need help with accommodation and transport.
5MEDIA RIGHTS
All applicants transfer all rights to TV and radio recordings to the organizer with their application - this also applies to photographs that are taken on and off the stage. By submitting their application, all applicants also give the organizer permission to use their first and last names as well as their photographs in press releases.
